This work is about being revealed and being concealed at the same time.
Clothes can be a a way for people to create an identity by presenting us the way we want people to see us.
I am interested in how clothing can create and hide and maybe even “misguide” people or society all at the same time. Our society has a clear perception of what gender is and which clothes belong to these genders. In this installation I questioned this perception by projecting a man’s body onto woman’s clothes and visa versa and making the two bodies collide into one as clothing and gender should be fluid and not set in stone.
